Vitaliy Pelikhatyy
Redeemer Baptist Church - Boise, ID
Bio:
Vitaliy is currently one of the pastors at Redeemer Baptist Church in Boise, ID, a church he helped plant in 2021. As a bi-vocational pastor, he splits his time between working in the medical field and shepherding the people of Redeemer.
He’s been working on his MDiv from SBTS for the last decade; slow and steady wins the race, is the motto.
Vitaliy has been married since 2011 to his wonderful wife, Yana. They have 4
kids, who fill their lives with joy and mostly contained chaos.
Sessions:
Session 1: "Philippians 1: Loving Christ" - We all love something and are propelled in life by that love. For Paul, his chief love in life was Jesus. In our first session, we’ll get to see the superiority and reward of loving Christ first and most.
Session 4: "Philippians 4: Rejoicing in Christ" - The world around us, in all its manifestations, demands that we be happy. Yet the way to achieve that happiness leaves people emptier than before. In our concluding session
we will see why and how Paul was able to experience deep internal joy and
satisfaction, even while imprisoned in Rome.
Book recommendations:
- Knowing God by J. I. Packer
- George Muller: Delighted in God by Robert Steer
- Every Good Endeavor by Tim Keller
