Koinonia (Heb. 13:16)

I. What is koinonia?

A. Sharing both material possessions and fellowship (v. 16a)

B. Self-denial and sharing of the heart (v. 16b)

II. Why is koinonia important?

A. The celebration of forgiveness in Christ (vv. 8-12)

B. The celebration of God’s work in us (vv. 20-21)

1) Do you have a strong desire to please God?

2) Have you learned to sacrifice for the sake of others? When was the last time you sacrificed something for others?

3) Are you giving God what belongs to Him?

4) How open are you to sincere, honest, and transparent fellowship?
