I. God works with the one who delivers the Gospel

II. God works with the one who receives the Gospel
A. He exposes the sinner’s need (v. 27b-28)
B. He gives a thirst for Scripture (vv. 28-36)
C. He gives a new heart (vv. 36-39)
Application:
- Be attentive.
- Develop strategy for evangelism.
- Notice seekers.
- Think about the kingdom of Christ.
- Understand grace.
- Know the Scriptures.
- The new birth from God through the Word.
- The fruit of repentance—joy.
- Trust God.
