"Jesus and His Enemies"
Transition: Lesson 6 showed Jesus’ miraculous power over blindness, demons, and death, proving He is Lord over all creation. Lesson 7 depicts the growing opposition from the Pharisees. They rejected His authority and accused Him of heresy, but Jesus exposed their hypocrisy and hard hearts.

Central Truth: Jesus confronted the religious hypocrisy of the Pharisees.
Spotlight on the Gospel: The Pharisees trusted their outward religion and traditions, but their hearts were hard toward God’s true mercy and the Messiah. Jesus exposed their hypocrisy to reveal that no one can earn salvation by rules or appearances. He lived the perfect life we could not, died for our sins, and rose again. Turn from self-righteousness today and trust in Him alone for forgiveness.
