Proclaim Christ - Evangelism Conference

Evangelism feels intimidating for all of us—awkward conversations, fear of rejection, not knowing what to say. That’s why we’re hosting this evangelism conference: a practical, encouraging time to get re-inspired and learn simple ways to share your faith naturally. Dr. Timothy Beougher from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary will be teaching and equipping us with tools you can actually use. If you’ve ever thought, “I just don't have the gift,” this conference is for you!

Dr. Timothy Beougher serves as the Associate Dean of the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism, and Ministry and the Billy Graham Professor of Evangelism and Church Growth. Prior to coming to Southern Seminary in 1996, Dr. Beougher served at Wheaton College as Assistant Professor of Evangelism and Associate Director of the Institute of Evangelism at the Billy Graham Center. Dr. Beougher currently serves as senior pastor of West Broadway Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. He is married to Sharon, and they have five children.

More information can be found at the link below. The conference will take place at Brighton Church. Although the conference is free, the organizers ask that you register; this will help them prepare better. Registration is available at the link below.

Scripture To Memorize

"So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness."
Romans 6:11-18
